Our Spanish School
Our Spanish schools have an outstanding reputation for excellence within their cities and abroad. The schools contain fifteen teachers, fifteen classrooms and a constant influx of students from all over the world (depending on the number of volunteers who are staying that month). Each of our schools are located very close to the city center affording our students easy access to the local hub of activity as well as banks, restaurants, hotels, and the nightlife scene. Our schools are also a part of our volunteer outreach and work to provide social and monetary assistance to the projects our volunteers are involved in.
Our organization employs teachers of the highest quality. Before employment, each teacher undergoes an intensive teaching-method training process and is evaluated based on their ability to connect with students, their creativity, and most importantly, their content knowledge. All of our teachers hold professional diplomas and are certified to teach Spanish. Due to the overwhelming amount of foreign volunteers, our teachers are also required to speak English in order to better communicate with those in the Beginners Classes.
We employ teachers specialized in teaching all levels of Spanish, including:
• Basic I and II
• Intermediary I and II
• Advanced I and II
• Improvement Classes
Our teachers utilize various teaching methods to promote understanding and advancement within the language. In order to teach the grammar and vocabulary necessary for language mastery, our teachers use worksheets, music, movies, conversations and discussions, and group activities to stimulate progress. Furthermore, if a student demonstrates an inclination towards a particular topic or requires assistance with vocabulary found at their volunteer project, our teachers can adapt their lesson plans according to each individual´s preference or need. All materials used are included within your Spanish lesson fee.
